Great read.
Good plot but character development is weak. My biggest complaint is that there seems to be no rhyme or reason as to why characters change alliances other than the author thought there should be more plot twists. They just change sides with a mere token explanation as to what their motivation would be and I found that frustrating. Especially since the IDEA behind the books is a good one.
Not bad, but not great. Larson has definitely written better. But, a good follow up to the earlier books and worth finishing.
A dark, engaging saga which is true to the Irish fairie lore. You feel like you have spent a lifetime in this world due to the sequential stories.
As I stated before, Larson should really stick to SciFi. That's where their talent is. I've read all the SciFi Larson has written and enjoyed them all immensely. This stuff,....not so much.
This whole series just falls short of the mark.
Mr. Larson is creative. I enjoy anything he writes. Perhaps a summer heat and a cold soft drink adds to his wonderful prose.I like this author. He thinks about battle ships and people. I am glad the sex parts are for the interest of his lady audience. I will continue to read his works. Note I saw ELP three times. live. Nuff said. Be well buddy.
I have already written my approval of having these stories put into a volume. One doesn't have to wait for the next story to come out now that they are placed so conveniently together. I dearly enjoyed the stories and jumped at the chance to get them in this form even though I have them separately. This way, I can download the volume and have them all to read offline when I am away from my wifi. A great buy!
